For this famous historic hotel located atop San Francisco’s prestigious Pacifc Heights neighborhood, MEG was brought in to design a radiant heating and cooling system to be used in the guest rooms throughout. In order to maintain the original style of the property, a radiant ceiling healing/cooling system manufactured by Messana was implemented. Due to a lack of electrical infrastructure MEG chose Absorption chillers located on the roof, which uses natural gas as the primary fuel source to provide the hot and cold water.
